This arch in the McCreary County section of the Daniel Boone National Forest is one of the worst displays of arch abuse we’ve seen. Located along a remote forest road that is seldom used it’s apparent this is favorite camping and partying spot for local youngsters. Firepits, blackened sandstone, trash and spray paint makes makes the damage to this one extensive. If you look closely near the center and bottom of the deck you can see the sandstone is breaking off due to the excessive heat created by fire or being removed to help make a fire ring below.
