Rhydian Arch
Laurel County · Cumberland Plateau
Need to upload photos. Located at the back of a large 100 + wide rock shelter. Originally thought to be an alcove arch, when visited in the rain running water was flowing just outside the edge of the opening through a crack giving us the indication that this arch was formed by running water. Part of the opening is obstructed by fallen rock but there is still a significan opening. The arch itself is located on Forest Property as the cliff line is the Forest Boundry.
